Maryland Minimum Wage Increase

Effective January 1, 2024, the state minimum wage rate will increase to $15.00 for all employers, regardless of size. Employees under 18 years may be paid 85% of the minimum hourly wage rate.

This is an increase from $13.25/hour for employers more than 15 employees, or $12.80 for those under 15 employees.

Premium pay after designated hours remains at 40 hours per week.
