We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations within a designated geographic area. The District Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of 5-8 sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in sales management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the district.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop sales forecasts and budgets.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics, including sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Identify training needs and coordinate sales training programs for team members.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and budget management.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales automation tools.
- Willingness to travel within the designated geographic area.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
