We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations within a designated geographic area. The District Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of 5-8 sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in sales management.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the district.
  3. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  4. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  5. Collaborate with senior management to develop sales forecasts and budgets.
  6. Monitor and report on sales metrics, including sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
  9. Identify training needs and coordinate sales training programs for team members.
  10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  6. Proficiency in sales forecasting and budget management.
  7. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Knowledge of CRM software and sales automation tools.
  9. Willingness to travel within the designated geographic area.
  10. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
