Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead our logistics team. This individual will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the effective management of inventory, fleet maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations.

60-65k annually/exempt

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, stock put-away, order picking, sorting, and loading, to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy.
• Inventory Control: Manage inventory processes, conducting regular physical counts and reconciliations to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Fleet Management: Ensure the maintenance and compliance of vehicle fleet, coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with safety regulations.
• Hazardous Materials Management: Prepare and oversee documentation for HazMat cargo, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and providing necessary driver training.
• Route Optimization: Develop and implement efficient delivery routes, balancing customer service needs with operational costs to enhance service delivery.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate driver performance regarding efficiency, safety, and customer service, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve workflow and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements: This position requires regular sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
